Engram
These terms apply when you buy an Engram from Engram (Blackmane Industries LLC, Baseline Rd, Tempe, AZ 85283). Contact: [email protected].
An Engram is artwork drawn by an algorithm from words you provide, sold as a digital download, a poster or a framed print, together with a reveal video of your words being drawn, which we email once your files are sent or your print goes into production. The reveal video is also sold on its own. Each one is made to order from your words.
You confirm that the words you submit are your own, or that you have the right to use them, for example because they are in the public domain. You must not submit song lyrics, poems or other text that is still under copyright, or anything hateful, unlawful or that infringes someone else's rights. We may refuse or cancel an order that we believe breaks these rules; if we do, we refund you in full.
Prices include standard shipping. Prices for UK and EU customers include VAT. For US customers, sales tax is added at checkout where it applies. Payment is taken by Stripe when you place your order.
Prints are made in 2 to 5 business days and then shipped by our print partner. Delivery estimates are shown at checkout and are not guaranteed. Digital files and reveal videos are delivered by email and through your order page; video links work for 30 days.
Because every Engram is made to your specification from your words, it cannot be returned or cancelled for a change of mind once it has gone into production. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, this is because personalised goods are exempt from the 14-day cancellation right. If you ask us to cancel before your order goes into production, we will, and we refund what you paid minus the card processing fee our payment provider keeps (usually about 3%). If we cancel an order ourselves, we refund you in full. For digital downloads, and for a reveal video bought on its own, you ask us to deliver immediately and acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel once delivery starts.
If your print arrives damaged or misprinted, tell us within 30 days of delivery, with a photo. If it does not arrive, tell us within 30 days of the expected delivery date. We will replace it or refund you. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our liability for an order is limited to the price you paid for it.
We may update these terms; the version shown when you placed your order applies to it.
